Sharing the experience would be great to the younger generation. As the struggle is a continuous fight to improve life conditions, benefiting from the previous generations’ experiences and knowledge is crucial to empower the fights the youth need to take over.
We will share experiences about working, growing up, learning and helping people and the needs of the community. We celebrate together the 40th anniversary of the Villa.
Speakers:
Raina Hofer, was involved in the community work at türkisrosalila villa from 2015 to 2020. They are a nonbinary, chronically ill person who loves (and fails) putting their own body at the center of the work. Dance and movement is a tool that is always part of the work. At the moment raina works for MAD Coproductions, a cultural association in Vienna. (mad-dance.at)

Moderation: Lia Kastiyo-Spinosa, editor, artist, community organizer from the Karibbean. Contributing to Villa since 2018.
During talks, translators will be available for individuals who don’t speak German. One person will be translating into English and another will be translating into Arabic. Or vice versa.
The talks will also be broadcasted online to maximize the number of individuals benefiting from the talks.
